About
The
Trua
Miyuki, a land once known as a beautiful blessing, has become a living nightmare. Divided by caste, it has fallen victim to the rule of a dictator. The Trua Regime has prospered for almost two decades, and too many lives have been lost by its cruel agenda. Half-bloods and humans are treated as vermin, while pure-bloods and nobles thrive in the name of upholding the future.
Courageous individuals from all backgrounds begin to rise in their desperate hope for unity.
From the seasoned lord who questions the corruption he once upheld, to the young woman seeking justice for her family, from a leader battling addiction; to an outcast whose secrets threaten to topple the regime altogether—they must learn to put aside prejudices and work together with those they once deemed enemies.
As these unlikely allies join to face overwhelming odds, they must navigate through alarming truths, hurt, and betrayal. But as their relationships progress and more truths are brought to light, the realization that forgiveness is easier said than done might be the stumbling stone that keeps them enslaved.
